Ooh! Curry stands for modern and an urban atmosphere projecting a new trendy Indian concept offering mouth-watering street food, popular delicacies and highlighting the vegetarian strength of Indian cuisine from different regions of India, in the heart of hustling and bustling Oerlikon. The authentic Indian food is presented and served in a contemporary art way.

Two pillars behind Ooh! Curry

Tarun Jadon

I come from a small village in Northern India. After spending my childhood with my mother and helping her in her day-to-day activities, my interest in Indian home cooking developed and i started to look to grow in the culinary field.

After completing my Hotel Management from IHM Goa, i spent 3 Years developing my skills as a professional chef in various 5 Star Hotels in India. First time I ever flew and that too internationally was to open a well known Indian restaurant in the heart of Zurich old Town, which was known as “Khan`s”.

My exposure to Zurich Gastro scenario motivated me to develop my local language skills and with that i started to explore and manage well-known restaurant concepts like Hato, Alice Choo, Bluemonkey etc. Now after 20 Years of learning and exposure in gastronomie & hotellerie, i decided to fulfill my long awaited dream of opening a restaurant, which is owned by me and where there are no boundaries to my underlying passion.

I started my career with the Business and Knowledge Process outsourcing. Along with my passion of interacting with people and food continued in the form of catering from home since 2004.

Born and Bought up in Delhi, married and moved to England where for the very first time I heard Chicken Tikka Masala and I kept convincing my colleagues that there is no such think its only Butter Chicken… I invited them for dinner and voila my journey from the home kitchen started. In 2012 moved to Switzerland with my husband son and daughter. Soon I realized that I did not want to go back to the corporate world, rest is history. I got introduced to Tarun in Switzerland from a very close friend. Every time we met we realized that someday we might get into a venture to have our own restaurant. Finally we are starting our culinary journey.
